Risk factors associated with a high incidence of sexually transmitted infections in Beitbridge, Zimbabwe

Background: Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are a major public health challenge, particularly in developing countries where the infrastructure is often poor. Despite having number of interventions Beitbridge (such as 24-h wellness centre), Zimbabwe, incidence and prevalence STIs increasing. Objectives: This study, therefore, aims to assess risk factors associated with high urban Beitbridge. Method: A case-control study was conducted on 30 respondents who had suffered from (selected registers at hospital followed up) 90 not (from community) resided for least 6 months this excluded all those were transit.
